CHSI Stitches 2020: The Unmissable Event for the Creative Craft Industry

The Craft Report
Now firmly established as the creative craft industry’s key annual report, the results of this independent research are released at the show each year. Themes for 2020 include environment, influencers and the new generation of crafters.

Get Hands On
The team at CHSI Stitches have created a brilliant line up of workshops. The full list can be found on the website and includes a biodegradable glitter workshop with Stix 2 and needle felting with The Makerss. Make sure you pre book as they are snapped up fast.

Free Education
Speakers at the Insights Hub this year include Paul Wright, co-founder of HOCHANDA who’ll be discussing building a successful craft business in the age of new communications and Steffi Stern, co-founder of The Makerss who will be addressing the issue of high streets versus online.

Expert Advice
New for 2020, the organisers of CHSI Stitches have teamed up with the The Creative Industry Association to offer a Dragons Den style panel where visitors can book a slot to pitch their business or product ideas and receive expert advice. Visitors will have 10 minutes to showcase their idea and then receive 10 minutes of expert feedback. The sessions are only pre bookable and will be private to protect ideas. The experts come from a wide range of backgrounds from designers, TV to supplier and manufacturing. Slots are very limited, and can be booked by visiting www.chsi.co.uk

Papercraft Zone
New for CHSI Stitches 2020 is a dedicated zone celebrating all things papercraft. Discover the very latest innovations, designs and materials from companies including My Perfect Stamp, Unicorn Crafts, Crafty Monkies, Thirsty Brush, Time for Tea and inspiring artisan makers from Bert & Gerts.

Business Hub
The Creative Industry Association are offering all attendees and exhibitors 15 minutes free business consultation with Craig De Souza – CEO of the association – with over two decades of industry knowledge he can offer expert advice. Time slots with Craig can be booked by visiting www.chsi.co.uk

Bright Sparks
The Bright Sparks Pavilion delivers every year bringing to life products from some of the industry’s latest up and coming designers.

Catwalk Style
See finished products take centre stage on the catwalk and take home inspiration for your customers. This year there’s a great line up including Rico Designs, Creative World of Crafts, Novita, Knitting Fever, Lion Brand, Craft Yourself Silly, Cygnet Yarns and Vlieseline.
