Stationery Trend Hub

Another fresh area to this year’s  show is  the Stationery Trend Hub, where retailers can learn more about a range of selected ‘on trend’ products that have been identified by trend forecasting agency Scarlet Opus. Trend forecasters Scarlet Opus is working with the London Stationery Show and all its exhibitors to identify products that epitomise some of the global consumer and design trends that will affect the stationery market. Some trends are relevant now or will start making an impact in the run up to Christmas 2018, while others will reveal themselves next spring/summer. here you can listen to a trend presentation or join a Trend Tour. The Trend Tours last around 30 minutes and cater to a group of maximum of 5/6 people. To book a place on one of the tours, click here.

Live Talks programme

Grab a seat in Seminar Two on the Gallery Level, and listen in on talks from Phil Pond, trends translator at Scarlet Opus, Alex Schlagman, founding partner of Savethehighstreet.org and Debbie Wigglesworth, co-founder of The Paper Library. These  30-minute sessions are quick-fire presentations covering trends, graphology and how the stationery sector and the UK high street are faring…
It’s first come first served!

Creative Stationery Workshops

The workshops are perfect for retailers looking for ideas on how to engage with customers, and you’ll find the Creative Stationery Workshops area located right in the middle of the show on the mezzanine level. Reeves is sponsoring the programme this year and running their own workshops, and will be supported by the Association for Creative Industries UK team, who will be making sure everything runs smoothly on the day.

Be prepared to come along and do your stuff – these are not demonstrations, but easy ideas for you to try out and consider running in your own store. So, roll up your sleeves, get everything out of the packets and get stuck in! Talk to the workshop presenters and suppliers about what retail support they offer – whether it’s a supply of product samples, workshop activity sheets, or someone to help you out. This is where you’ll find ideas on how to encourage your customers to spend some more time with you and the products you sell.

The first 50 early bird bookers (25 for each day of the show) who pre-book a workshop place will get a FREE goodie bag! Click here to see what workshops are on offer and book your seat now.

The show takes place on 24th – 25th April, 2018 at Business Design Centre in London. To register click here.
